William Bonewitz 1930-2018

William (Cannon Ball) Bonewitz, born May 2, 1930, passed away June 25, 2018. His wife Bette of 68 years and daughter Wendy were at his side.

Bill served aboard the USS DeHaven DD-727 from 1948-1951. He was an ET3

Bill was a member of the Elks #316 of Colorado, where he enjoyed hiking and skiing. Here in Prescott, he joined the YMCA and enjoyed all the friendships.

Bill is survived by wife Bette; son, Michael; daughter, Wendy; and six grandchildren: Shaina, Hannah, Nikki, Joy, True, and Spirit.

Internment will be held at the Prescott National Cemetery.
