David T. Cessna 1950-2024

David T. Cessna, “Ted”, 73, entered into rest Wednesday May 1, 2024 at his home. He was the husband of Aleis E. (Firestone) Cessna for 23 years.

Mr. Cessna was born June 3, 1950 in Bedford, a son of the late Robert and Helen (Beegle) Cessna. He was a graduate of Central High School and served in the US Navy aboard the USS DeHaven during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a service technician with MOBA BV. He was a lifetime member of the VFW post in West York, the American Legion post in Shiloh, and the USS DeHaven Assn. He enjoyed golfing, four wheeling, traveling and most of all his family and friends.

David is survived by his wife; children Amy and Joseph Cessna; step-children Marja and Breanna; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Karl (Fran), Perry (Nancy), Tom (Mary), Sue Ferguson, Don, Kathy, Robin; nieces, nephews, and loving extended family. He was preceded in death by a sister Carol.
