Frank Albert Frazier Jr. 1927-2023

On 11-15-2023 our beloved Frank awoke to find himself in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will continue to Praise and Glorify Jesus in Heaven as he did here on earth. Frank loved life and lived it to the fullest, always giving of himself to his wife, sons, grandchildren and church. He was always reaching out to those who needed his help.

Frank was born September 20, 1927, in St. Petersburg, Florida to Frank and Jean Frazier. He grew up in Florida, Ohio and Texas. He graduated from Corpus Christi High School in 1945, enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the destroyer U.S.S. DeHaven DD-727 for 3 ½ years.

He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1952, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Pi. He worked for Sun Oil Co. for 32 years in Rockport, Premont, McAllen, Houston and Dallas. Frank was active in the Boy Scouts, P.T.A. and Lions Club. His first commitment was serving his Lord. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church where he joyfully served as Sunday School Superintendent, teacher, Lutheran Layman’s League, Congregational President and Elder. Frank touched countless lives throughout his life and was always willing to give of himself. Frank was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Longview, TX. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, who literally gave his life to his children, and was a faithful friend to all who knew him and cherished his many friends.

Survivors include his wife June of 70 years, and three sons, Frank lll & (Isabel) of Dallas, James E of Rockport, and Chris & (Sylvia) of White Oak, Grandchildren, Erik & (Nhu), Christopher & (Leann), Lauren & (Justin), Frank IV, Micah of Dallas, Steven &(Sarah), Matthew &(Erica) and Jonathan of White Oak. Great Grand Children, Damian, Lucas, Jullian, Maximus, and Coraline.
