Tillman "Tim" R. Hawkins, Jr 1934-2015

Tillman "Tim" R. Hawkins, Jr. of Tustin, passed away on Memorial Day May 25, 2015 at the age of 81. A native of Minnesota, Tim's family moved to California when he was very young.

After graduating from San Bernardino High School, he served in the Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS De Haven DD-727.

Returning home to attend San Diego State University, he graduated with a degree in accounting. Working as a CPA in Orange County, he eventually established Holmgren & Hawkins, CPA.

His love of the ocean led him to join the Coast Guard Auxiliary, serving for over 25 years, teaching classes, patrolling our coast, and making many wonderful friends.

He was a loving husband, father and Papa. He is preceded in death by his wife, Madrienne; survived by his children, Sarah Ann, William (Donna) and John; grandchildren, Delaney and Ryan. A memorial service will be held on June 13, 2015 at Noon at Saddleback Chapel in Tustin. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
